Concept: The wave table is a sculpture where an interpretation of a water droplet impact has been materialized. The resulting shapes have been carved out from a transparent material, enabling us to study the frozen, static structure of water on close range. It is important to note that this is not a simulation, rather, it is an artistic representation of what could be water or similar to it.
Awarded: The project was supported by The Swedish Arts Grants Committee and The Royal Swedish Academy of Fine Arts in 2010 and 2012.
Materials: Polished acrylic glass on aluminium rack
